2 Years After Nuclear Disaster, Japan Spawns Freaky Fruits And Veggies

1 day ago

It might be wise to steer clear of vegetables from Japan's Fukushima area for, oh, say a few hundred years. A Korean website assembled this image collection of produce from towns and villages surrounding the Fukushima Daiichi nuclear power plant. And they are NOT pretty pictures. From Siamese-twinned corn cobs to what can only be called peaches with elephantiasis, the region's agriculture appears to have taken a heavy radiation hit from the nuclear disaster in 2011. It's not clear yet what effect eating the produce might have on the population, but you never know. It could be pretty dangerous, but you never know — in an ideal world, maybe it could give you superpowers. {Source} {Source}

''Furthermore, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and public health experts do not recommend that people in the United States take precautionary measures beyond staying informed. And going forward, we will continue to keep the American people fully updated — because I believe that you must know what I know as President.'' - ~President Barack Obama, March 17, 2011

''U.S. experts continue to support Japan’s ongoing efforts to deal with the challenges associated with Fukushima.'' ~President Barack Obama, March 9, 2012

So I guess since the WH didn't have an anniversary statement this year (I hadn't heard of it nor found one online), we know as much as the President knows -- like he said he'd keep us informed. Of course, I know he's been extraordinarily distracted lately, rooting out the traitors and spies who steal information that doesn't belong to them.

- Still, I'm gonna highly recommend that you steer clear of any fruit or vegetable that has more arms or legs than you do......

before the nuclear disaster that was the result of natural genetic mutations in hybrid plants, but this is truly freaky.

the result of radiation experiments on vegetable/fruit plants in the 50's and 60's. Supersweet corn, for example. Which is why it's probably better for you, nutrition-wise, to stick to heirloom seeds that have been around for more than 100 years.

to obtain heirloom seeds. There used to be a seed store in my hometown that sold heirloom seeds, but it went out of business many years ago. Now everything is pre-packaged hybrid stuff-- or maybe even worse.

so the poster of the OP used this story about defromed vegetables in japan as an excuse to attack President Obama and suggest that he is up to no good. The ODS is strong in this OP. What's next? gonna blame president Obama for your failed relationships and lost loves? Please seek professional help for the ODS- it has been known to be so strong in some enthusiasts that it weakens their own OPs by expressing the ODS in such an obvious way. We get it- ODS supporters hate the black guy in the white house so much that reason and common sense take a backseat within the little intellect possesed by ODS enthusiasts.
Strange fruit indeed.
