No one is talking about this?
We The People have had nothing done about this?
All *sorts* of hyperbole going around about partners and smuggling and high school drop outs and casual security clearance, and finger drives, and...
We 're still paying the facilitator of these events HUNDREDS OF MILLIONS of our hard earned tax dollars to keep us safe?
No? Nothing about any of that? Just Snowden? Greenwald? Who has more access to our security measures, or lack thereof?
WHY. DO. I. REALLY. FEEL. LIKE. WE. ARE. ALL. HAVING. THE. WRONG. FUCKING. CONVERSATION????

And now, I am going to go bang my head against a brick wall for an hour.
One reason I have a hard time believing anything when they immediately go right back to business as usual, yet publicly proclaim to be cutting 90% of their sysadmins...gee doesn't take a rocket scientist to see somebody is lying or not good a math.

(10,291 posts)I mean, CLEARLY Snowden can't do much (more) damage...but the bigger question is, How on earth did he get *that* much clearance *that* quickly, and if this is how they handle security clearance over at Booz Allen, it might be time for them to go packin'...I am sure we can find a better way to spend our money

(65,616 posts)This is my thought on the whole thing; our govt has such a fetish with Wall Street (and the covers since Reagan was in office) that they decided to follow this Disaster Capitalism model that has completely destroyed the middle class in the private sector. So after years and decades that leaves us with companies like Blackwater (still happily in business) and Booz Allen and Halliburton that are shady at best.
Special interest groups that have bottomless coffers, have ruined the political process with their endless greed for money and the revolving door in D.C.
