OMG, GOP Desperate To Float New Candidate-Suggest Clarence Thomas!?!?!?
Clarence Thomas Is a Long Shot for President, But His Candidacy Makes a Lot of Sense
by Adam Winkler Feb 26, 2012 4:45 AM EST Call it a longshot if you like, but in this anything-can-happen political year, the Supreme Court justice has qualities to recommend him to a broad spectrum of voters. With the Republican presidential nomination still up in the air, the possibility of a brokered convention is looking increasingly likely. Under the party’s rules, the delegates won by Mitt Romney, Rick Santorum, and the others in the primaries and caucuses are obligated to vote for their assigned candidate only on the first ballot. If no candidate wins the required number of votes, the delegates can throw their support to anyone. There’s speculation that party insiders, unhappy with the current field, might float the candidacy of someone not now in the race, like New Jersey Governor Chris Christie or Jeb Bush. While Christie and Bush might be fine candidates, perhaps the Republicans should consider a more inspired and game-changing pick: Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas. Far-fetched? Maybe. But a Thomas candidacy would energize Republicans in a way that few other Republicans can and would steal tremendous media attention from President Barack Obama. http://www.thedailybeast.com/articles/2012/02/26/clarence-thomas-is-a-long-shot-for-president-but-his-candidacy-makes-a-lot-of-sense.html

Whether or not they admit it, racism is a big part of why they hate Obama so much.

If Clarence Thomas won't run, Allen West probably would.

9. I wouldn't rule out that he or

some other token AA would be selected as a VP nominee. They are too consistent in their pandering - with the Hail Mary pass of a Failin Palin to something like that... Because ya know, black people only vote for black candidates no matter what party.

he can't take any scrutiny, and neither can his wife. Plus he has zero charisma and he has a reputation for being a terrible SC justice.
Then again, look who they have in the race now. |

Nine months away from and election and they can't get behind a single candidate and the choices they have are toxic to women. blacks hispanics and anyone who isn't 55 years old, white and angry. Barring voter suppression and blatant election fraud Obama is going to wipe the GOP of the map. |
