We are LIVE this Labor Day, Truthseekers, with our annual discussion of workers rights and what can be done in this county, if anything, to restore the middle class in the age of mega-corporations.

Truthseekers, we thank you again for the incredible show of support for our Kickstarter campaign. You are proof that Progressives DO care about representation in the media and DO want equal time on the airwaves! You want to hear and see truthful political programming. With your pledges, you have said “no” to the right-wing noise machine that claims progressives shouldn’t have a voice on the airwaves.

We honestly did not think we would hit our target this quickly, here we are! And now we have even bigger plans for the Mike Malloy video show! We hoped to raise enough money to put a single camera in the studio and stream live. Wow. Your support told a different story. You showed us you want more, and we want to give you more! And we can do it, with you behind us, you are proving that we can!

We spoke with our partners today and if we can continue to raise funds, then we can install three different cameras in here, make Kathy a part of the show, too, and offer a bigger behind-the-scenes peek at how we do what we do every day – on AND off the air. And we may then even get the program up on a not-for-profit cable channel. We’ve got some remarkable momentum going, and that gets attention. We’re getting noticed in a good way!

We’ll have more details after the Labor Day holiday next week – and I will be Live on Labor Day, by the way – but if we can hit $40,000 over the weekend, we can expand our original plan and make the Malloy : Uncensored video show something REALLY big! Which, obviously, is what we all want. And the more funding we get, the faster we can start working on these episodes, too. We think we can roll the cameras before the holidays! That’s the new goal!

This is democracy in action, Truthseekers! You are making this happen. YOU are sending the message that you believe in progressive media and in this program. And we will deliver the biggest, best videocast we possibly can. Because it’s what you deserve, and it’s about damn time.
