"the law said he was not guilty." This is not true. There was plenty of evidence to convict him. She still can't accept her role in letting him off. I don't care how much she thinks "God" is going to take care of him.

Also, the judge and prosecution (deliberately?) did not adequately explain the law and how the jury could legally reach a manslaughter conviction.

because the others knew more about the law then she did. She does not want to take responsibility for the part that she played in freeing Zimmerman.
