NYC: Thompson ends fight for run-off.

Democratic Mayoral candidate has withdrawn from the race and supports Bill de Blasio. With no run-off De Blasio can focus on the race against his Republican opponent right away.

Standing behind Bill Thompson at his announcement were a large number of Democratic leaders including Mayoral candidate Bill de Blasio, Gov. Andrew Cuomo, Rep. Charlie Rangel and many others.
