Let that baby cry
Ever seen a room full of adults lose their minds when a baby starts crying? I'm not talking about the typical "I'm wet and hungry" cry, I'm talking about that wail... screech... that blasts through that rug rat's lungs when he doesn't get his way. People scramble to give him what he wants so he will just shut up!
I think the GOP has used that technique well over the last several decades. They cry, scream and pout until Congress and, sometimes, the American people, get so damn tired of hearing it they'll give in and let the brats have their way.
As we come down the home stretch of the looming government shut down, the brats on the right are in full melt-down mode. They're breaking their toys, kicking and screaming and flinging their peas and carrots at the walls.
I say let that baby cry.
