Announcement from the US Geological Service

Just read this on their earthquake monitor website:

GOVERNMENT FURLOUGH

Due to a lapse in Federal funding, the USGS Earthquake Hazards Program has suspended most of its operations. While the USGS will continue to monitor and report on earthquake activity, the accuracy or timeliness of some earthquake information products, as well as the availability or functionality of some web pages, could be affected by our reduced level of operation.

miles south of me. They have all erupted in the last few decades and I HATE IT WHEN THEY DO.

YOU WAIT! SPUR, ILLIAMNA, AUGUSTINE AND REDOUBT WILL GO OFF AT ONCE AND LEVEL US!

I hope not. Actually, we get about 3000 earthquakes a day up here.

Really, it's for our own good. If mankind was meant to fly or leave the planet, it'd be in scripture.

All those lights in the sky are decorations. And Jesus rode a dinosaur. Just sayin'
