If the Dems had shut down the government there would be cries of "TREASON !"

We would be hearing constantly how this "emboldens our enemies", especially Iran and North Korea, and jeopardizes national security.

Shutting down the government while we are "at war" gives "aid and comfort to our enemies" like Al Qaeda. The President had to sign an emergency bill just to make sure that active members of the armed forces get paid.

Hyperbole aside -- We ask the military to do their best every minute of every day while the GOP House gets drunk and crashes the government and THAT'S DEMORALIZING.
