Only if Democratic challengers actually bring it up and make it a campaign issue will it matter at all. Unfortunately, we are over a year away from the 2014 election, and the government shutdown will probably be over by then, Obamacare will be fully up and running, and the teabaggers will have decided this was their idea in the first place. Just wait for the right-wing commercials insinuating that the ACA was their idea.
