#DearCongress: Americans vent frustrations as shutdown drags on

As the government shutdown entered its second day, people across America were feeling the effect -- and lots of them wanted to tell lawmakers just how fed up they were.

Using the hashtag #DearCongress, they've weighed in on Twitter, Facebook, Instagram and Vine to vent to their senators and representatives. While hundreds of thousands of federal workers were placed on furlough and the business of government ground to a virtual halt with no end in sight, plenty of Americans were wondering what it was all for.
