Charles Pierce: Corp $$$ Is The Power Behind ALL OF IT-1 GOAL-Subjugate Population/Workforce

This Is What They Want
By Charles P. Pierce at 10:00am

.....................................

This is the real motivation behind all the tricornered hats and the incantations about liberty and all the conjuring words that have summoned up the latest crisis in our democracy. Corporate money is the power behind all of it, and that corporate money has but one goal -- the creation of a largely subjugated population and a workforce grateful for whatever scraps fall from the table. To accomplish this, the corporate money not only had to disable the institutions of self-government that are the people's only real protection, it had to do so in such a way that the people expect less and less of the government and, therefore, less and less of each other, acting in the interest of the political commonwealth.

I am grateful that I am finding out just what corporate America wants, before they have fully succeeded. Perhaps they can be stopped.

If these new Free Trade Deals are passed,
and Social Security/Medicare begins the Death of 1000 Cuts,
I would say they have achieved complete
MISSION ACCOMPLISHED!

and more specifically for Universal Health Care (read Single Payer) is that it would allow for more innovation and entrepreneurship by giving stability to those who may be inclined start their own enterprise but were hesitant because of self insurance. I think that one of the side effects of the ACA will be a significant increase in entrepreneurs as they are no longer held hostage by employment based insurance. This would obviously scare corporations because their best talent is now more free to pursue their own individual goals. Can't have that ya'know.

I just hope they develop some slight love of country or nature before both are long gone.
