Ronan Farrow, the son of Mia Farrow and a human rights advocate, is set to ink a deal to host a show on MSNBC, the Hollywood Reporter said on Wednesday.
Farrow, who served in the State Department under Hillary Clinton, was a child prodigy and is a popular presence on social media, will likely host a show on the weekends, where MSNBC has been undergoing a major expansion, the site said. At 25, Farrow would be by far the youngest host on the network.
The news of his potential hiring came just as Farrow found himself in the public eye once again, as his mother told Vanity Fair that he might be Frank Sinatra's son, and not Woody Allen's.

(57,936 posts)I would bet on Woody Allen as the dad.
Look at pictures of Mia Farrow when she was young.
He looks more like Frank Sinatra than Woody Allen, but he mostly resembles his mother.

Absurd.

Hey. Goethe wrote Faust about the ravishing of a 16-year-old.
It is not just a German classic. Seems sick by today's standards, but a few hundred years ago, girls were not so rarely married at the age of 14.
I don't approve. In fact, it is repugnant to me personally. But I also recognize that we have actually raised our standards.
If this young man is the son of Woody Allen, we should not judge him for that.
If he is the son of Frank Sinatra, I may be able to tell from his voice.
Frank Sinatra had other children. I don't think Woody Allen did. So if this young man is not Woody Allen's child, then Woody Allen has no children.
I don't know why I am even interested in this. I can't stand celebrity gossip.
We shall see what happens with this young man.

Clinton highlighted Farrow's work and the youth engagement policy they designed in a 2012 speech in Tunisia.[3] He assumed this role following two years as the State Departments Special Adviser for Humanitarian and NGO Affairs in the Office of the Special Representative for Afghanistan and Pakistan.[2]
Farrow's writings have appeared in the Los Angeles Times, the International Herald Tribune, the Wall Street Journal and other publications, focused primarily on human rights issues in the Horn of Africa.[4] He has appeared as a frequent commentator on major networks and as an expert witness before the U.S. Congressional Human Rights Caucus.[5]
Farrow has spoken extensively on engaging with marginalized people such as youth and womens groups,[6] including in recent commencement addresses at Dominican University of California[7] and Bard College at Simon's Rock.[8]
In 2008, Farrow was awarded Refugees International's McCall-Pierpaoli Humanitarian Award, for "extraordinary service to refugees and displaced people."[9] In 2009, he was named by New York Magazine as their "New Activist" of the year and included on its list of individuals "on the verge of changing their worlds.[10] In 2010, Harpers Bazaar named him their up-and-coming politician" of the year.[2][11]
Forbes Magazine ranked him number one in Law and Policy on their "30 Under 30" Most Influential People list for 2012. He was included again in 2013.[12]
Farrow is a graduate of Bard College, Yale Law School and was a Rhodes Scholar.[13]
