Question about contacting Congresspeople

Allyson Schwrz is my Rep, so aside from letting her know I'm happy with her stand, I think I can probably skip contacting her. What about the myriad of squishy Republicons out her in the Philly burbs? Will my calls and emails be appropriate, or sway them in any way? I'm feeling helpless...

Some poor staffer gets paid to answer the phone, say "uh huh" all day and go home. The reps never read what you say, and if your position is opposite of theirs, they certainly dont care that they've hurt your feelings.

Do waste your time on it....it'll keep you sane. Just vent on here, at least here you'll get some support.

I think if the phone's ringing in their office every couple of minutes, and most of the calls are opposed to what they're doing, they'll take notice. My question is, will calling Congresspeople's offices out of my district matter.

are part of the "moderate" group who were looking to revolt (one day). These include Dent (Allentown), Gerlach, Fitzpatrick, and Meehan.

They have comparatively narrow groups of voters to pander to. It is irrelevant to them what folk outside their district think

even email. Sorry I did not mean to sound dismissive.

I emailed my my congress critters ... all Democrats. at this moment (only) I really wish I could go off on the nut jobs representing the rest of the state (I can, but don't believe they will register my opinion)

I would like to inundate that nitwit Boner about his apparent sell out of the country to protect his political @ss

He is purely evil ... he knows that this will be detrimental to the country ... yet he has allowed a relatively small group of deranged nut jobs to derail the country!
