question for NYC DU'ers: how bad is the "stuntz" situation there ?

I'm referencing the recent incident with Alexian Lien. I am NOT bashing all motorcycle riders, let me be clear. I have no bias against motorcycle riders, only asking a question.

this large a group. Maybe 6-8 together buzzing around, but never harassing cars or anything. Totally shocked by this.

I drive on the west side highway where that took place all the time and there are many motorcycle riders but that was the most I've seen in one place at one time.
