Former GOP Pundit – ‘These Tea Party People Are Not Republicans, They Are Liars And Cheats’
Author: Randa Morris
October 5, 2013 8:10 pm

A reporter by the name of Dylan Hock received a shocking e-mail on Thursday, October 3rd. The e-mail came from a GOP insider, Tim Miller. Miller apparently reached out to Hock, who works at Occupy Democrats, after having a crisis of conscience. After stating that he had decided to renounce the republican party, he went on to cite his reasons.

“My plan, after years of agonizing over this, is to speak out against what is happening with my Republican Party; with the current crap that’s happening in Washington now as my last straw. Meaning, I want to call it like it is and explain that these guys are liars, taking advantage of the lesser-educated (what we have done successfully with southern whites for a generation now).”

Miller has been a republican all of his life, getting his start in politics in 1976. He is a well known presidential historian who has made regular appearances as a guest commentator on Fox News. He is a former Congressional Staffer, who got his start working in the Office of Robin Beard Jr, a GOP Congressman from Tennessee. Beard later went on to become NATO Deputy Secretary General. Miller is also a former White House Press Correspondent, with press credential for Congress and the Senate. He was also named as one of George Bush’s 1,000 Points of Light. Miller’s bio details various positions he has held with the Junior Chamber of Commerce, from National Staff Officer to President of the Memphis branch to Executive Director of the Wisconsin Branch. Miller also was chosen by former President Gerald Ford, as publisher of his own autobiography.

Describing the Tea Party as spoiled children who have to get their way, Miller went on to say

“If I’m going to come out of the closet, I may as well do it with some goal in mind… I still want to do this and hopefully, do some good. This has gone too far and I fear they {the Tea Party} are getting worse and worse.”

I get tired of these people, Ma'am: he knew perfectly well what he was doing, and the time to foreswear it was before he began.

As a member here, Mr. Johonny, recent said:

"The difference is the old guard republicans knew these tactics were a ploy to get stupid people to vote against their self interest. The new guard are the stupid people that believed them. The old guard can't understand why the new guard doesn't understand the crap the party says they believe in is just window dressing and the new guard thinks the old guard are sell outs because they won't stand up for what they believe in (even though they don't believe in it). Meanwhile the RW media flames on as they can remember what is a lie and what was a lie to cover the lie... "

would be amusing if it weren't wreaking havoc on the country. If none of the whiners ever thought that their monsters could rise far enough to wrest their elected seats from them, then those whiners are just about as stupid as the monsters.

Arousing people with uncontrolled emotions like hate, racism, fear, and then thinking that you can control how such people act -- well, it was certainly hubris at the very least.

20. Perfect example of the dysfunctional family where all blame is placed on the child acting out:
Sun Oct 6, 2013, 12:46 PM
Oct 2013

The child is simply mirroring what the parents truly are, while they behave better in society. They continue the charade of innocence to distance themselves, hiding their true intentions to keep their positions, yet the children tell the tale.

At times there are other familial or community influences leading a child to act in an outrageous or anti-social manner; I am not speaking of those.

But it was inevitable that the child of the GOP would be named a bastard or an outlier by then, when it is their own bad seed. Their raison d'être is fouled by their operating principles.

This is the party that allowed, no, actively created the Great Depression of the last century and Great Recession of this one to line the pockets of the rich.

The party that fought at every step the New Deal, as people died in huge numbers, to enrich the rich who took their property for nothing as the banking system and stock market went into free fall yet they benefited.

This is the same party among whose members attempted the business coup and were pals of the true fascists and totalitarians in Europe (Prescott, the Koches) and made such great profits that GOP Eisenhower not only upped their income taxes, but placed them to a punitive level, solely to take back some of their profits from WW2 to continue to rebuild American civil society. He saw what their friends did, even though he was GOP. We would have done better with another Democrat, still.

Then the GOP used McCarthy and Nixon to run out Democrats by lying about them, chased what they called 'enemies of the state' who were really enemies of unbridled capitalism and a continuation of what led to the Great Depression.

They then profited off the MIC, created by the fear in the hearts of those with real concerns over a repeat of WW2. It killed 2.5% of the world's population, with thousands dying every single day that it continued. But for them it became an engine of unheard of wealth, used to increase their own power.

They never stopped fighting the New Deal, they used their own generation of demagogues to set up the John Birch Society, the Libertarian Party, the Cato Institute and their other lapdog intelligentsia.

They are the spiritual heir of aristocrats and patricians, who fought the creation of this nation and kept on fighting the promise of the Constitution that dared to speak of all human beings as equal, and that they have never accepted, all the way through the creation of the Confederacy.

The nominal glory they once had from creating the Party of Lincoln, they squandered over the years. Any belief in God and His Justice, they have perverted.

They are the regressives that have destroyed millions of lives and intend to destroy more, for the same reason as always, to enrich themselves.

And as far as the false meme that voting makes no difference, the criminals that many of the Tea Party were proven to be in early 2010, with child molesters, wife beaters, bullies, embezzlers, drunks and such, they were elected by votes, so it does make a difference.

Anyone that would vote for them in some benighted area where they have any real choice, isn't worth spit.

Every one of their principles as outlined in this image was designed to bring down all of our democratic institutions and give them all the wealth of the country including the Constitution itself. These are not talking points, difference in styles of government or such. They are the road to ruination:

They are registered Republicans and up to now you guys were 110% behind them, spouting tea party chants. I don't like you nor trust a word of what you say or write. Actions speak louder than words and right now you guys still have the government shutdown, stopping government to run properly and hurting a whole lot of people. And plus, the sequester in your ideal as well. Eff you!

But..two women who have loved each together for 25 years and want to get married is hurting the sanctity of marriage??

NOT the former Republican National Committee Deputy Communications Director Tim Miller and current Executive Director, America Rising PAC (a Republican opposition research outfit).

The photo at Addicting Info may be wrong one, if it's supposed to be Miller. The Occupy Democrats page where the story originates has a video showing one of the correct Miller's appearances on Cavuto's show.

They helped write a Declaration of Independence and Constitution based on freedom and equality while owning human beings. Only a few of our founders understood the hypocrisy and few understand it even now.
It will take, I'm afraid, another 200 years before we become what we say we are, if we survive at all. Republicans of every stripe will fight true freedom and equality every step of the way.
I'm sorry, the GOP has always been crazy. Teddy Roosevelt saw it a long time ago. Individual Republicans can be honest and decent people, but the party as a whole, after Lincoln, has been racist, elitist, and favoring the spoiled rich.
