This is the central point the Sunday talk shows need to make perfectly clear.
They are on record as wanting to do whatever it takes to make Obama and the Dems look bad in the eyes of the voters. They have had a track record of obstructionism ever since Obama's first day in office. If eight years of the BushCo Regime didn't make that point obvious then the talking heads on the news shows certainly aren't paying attention. The rethugs will do whatever it takes to further their agenda while relying on the short term memory of the voters to not remember how this was all their doing. It has worked for them before, so they think it is well worth using the same game plan again.

(86,690 posts)to keep in our back pocket. If they crash the world, they make themselves vulnerable to.... well, let's say some serious consequences.
We MUST, as a nation, make some serious correction without delay. I think they are not only willing to take us over the brink, I think that "over the brink" is the objective to push our collective buttons to the point of outright revolt on a civil war scale so that they can implement the easier parts of their shock doctrine agenda. They're not just all about Ms. Rand, they are also Milton Friedman fans. She provided the utopian ideal for them, uncle Milty gave them the tools (and I means "tools" in every definition).
We can't take the bait. I smell the possibility of Marshall Law in the near future and that may or may not be beneficial for the general public, not with all the guns out here. At that point, it could go either way... and I think that's what they're betting on and I think it is the goal for these pukes. They want a coup and that's the end result as far as they have thought this through. Once their benefactors get the green light, it's gonna really suck around here, actually everywhere. It's like the JBirchSoc. 2.0. The only good point I can see with that scenario is that our CEO is also the CIC, and that isn't necessarily a the best thing for a democracy but may be its salvation in the long run.
Merely speculation on my part but I'm not willing to rule out the direst of possibilities any more.
