I don't understand why no one has called for furloughed workers to show up at the Capitol

I'm scratching my head for ideas about reaching them. It would be great if members had to walk in past idled workers to get to their offices.

I thought #SeeYouOnTheHill would be a nice tag for it.

By no one I mean any Democratic lawmaker. I'm surprised we haven't heard from Mr Grayson in all of this mess.

Why no calls to rally?

They should be blanketing the airwaves with ads criticizing the GOP.

The silence makes me think they arent as progressive as they tried to act like in the election.

surrounding the republican congressterrorists like they are Custer and crew at the Little Big Horn would be productive, and great fun.

I think it was when that moron Neuroses or whatever his name is berated that park ranger and someone said she's not allowed to bring politics into it as she's a federal employee or something.

Also she was on duty.

I don't think there would be an issue with Taft-Hartley with participating in a protest against the shutdown.

It looks like the furloughed workers will get back pay for the time furloughed. It is essentially a paid vacation at this point. I myself would rather be working but I haven't heard from anyone I know that they are that upset about it.
