I'm scratching my head for ideas about reaching them. It would be great if members had to walk in past idled workers to get to their offices.
I thought #SeeYouOnTheHill would be a nice tag for it.
By no one I mean any Democratic lawmaker. I'm surprised we haven't heard from Mr Grayson in all of this mess.
Why no calls to rally?

The silence makes me think they arent as progressive as they tried to act like in the election.

I don't think there would be an issue with Taft-Hartley with participating in a protest against the shutdown.

(7,412 posts)It looks like the furloughed workers will get back pay for the time furloughed. It is essentially a paid vacation at this point. I myself would rather be working but I haven't heard from anyone I know that they are that upset about it.
