ABC's This Week with George Stephanopoulos guests Paul Krugman and David Plouffe expressed concern that default is looming. Krugman said there is a 50/50 possibility it will happen. He thinks the markets will decide with a massive sell off on Monday.

The bad part is massive economic destruction and personal devastation for those not receiving checks or getting cancer treatments, etc.
