Another ACA story sort of. Really it's a flailing, stupid insurance companies story

The only people who are more afraid than the Republicans about ACA (I've decided that I will never call it Obamacare or more accurately Romneycare anymore- that's a whole other discussion) are the current insurance companies. They know the only way to survive is to join the marketplace and they've been happy picking and choosing their pool for so long, they are screaming like stuck pigs and trying to squeeze every nickle out of their current clientele to make up for it.

So, technically, I'm getting screwed six ways to hell and my insurance company really, really, really wants me to believe it's because of ACA but I'm a little smarter than that. I know this is them and not ACA and even if it were, I am a socialist so I will give a bit to make sure that the poorest among us have a stronger safety net. But it's not ACA, I know it isn't, even though my insurance company would love me to believe that.

I'm losing vision coverage, I have to go in to prove that I have the same son I've had for 12 years, many of my services are being cut from 24-50 times a year to 12, and some are being cut completely. My deductible has doubled, both for myself and family. I'm angry but I'm not angry at ACA. I'm being fucked in the ass without lube but I know who is doing the fucking.

Eventually, I want the insurance agencies out of this "business" that should not be for profit but a universal right, as it is in all the other major countries and even some minor ones. I hated ACA when it passed because I saw it as a cave in to insurance. But now, actually seeing how the insurance companies are so terrified that we'll figure out that they are superfluous, I have come to like ACA for what it is, a possible (Probable) stepping stone to universal care. And when that day comes, if it comes in my lifetime, I will send my insurance card back cut up in little pieces and a three word letter. "Fuck You Leeches".
