Is it just here on this site? Or am I completely misunderstanding the meaning of your OP?

browsing on. A reboot might take care of it. Weird stuff happens.

The other day, my Kindle Fire suddenly decided it was in Germany. My virtual keyboard and all messages switched to German. I had to go to Settings and change that. Lucky for me, I know enough German to navigate the Settings stuff in German, or I'd have been SOL.

I'm pretty deficient with knowing much about apple products. But I just shut it down, restarted and it looks ok now.

Really weird though. I wanted to take a screen shot but not sure how to do that on an iPad.

but she's not here. Google iPad Screen Capture, though, and you'll find it. I remember that it's easy to do, but I can't remember the steps for it offhand.

I googled it. Check these instructions:

I ask selfishly because I'd love to have a Kindle Fire HD someday, and I know very little German. Mostly I was warned not to ever call one (phonetic spelling) 'Du-azl' whatever that means. Maybe I shouldn't even ask in public. Anyway, that's what I was told right before I almost married into the Ramstein family years and years ago. I can stumble along in Latin languages a lot better even though still not very well. You don't use it, you lose it. Mostly I just remember a few cuss words, and I doubt they'd help in the situation you describe.
