Around 1 p.m. today, the hashtag #lookadouche showed up on the Twittersphere. A group of students at Richardson High School were skipping regularly scheduled math or science classes to attend an optional PTA-sponsored assembly. ...
On his website, which was made public to the students, Lookadoo touts materials that include a list of "Dateable girls rules." On that list are rules including, "Be Mysterious. Dateable girls know how to shut up" and "Let him lead. God made guys as leaders. Dateable girls get that and let him do guy things. ... Which means they don't ask him out!!!"
As for the "Dateable Boy," Lookadoo and co-author Hayley DiMarco want young people to know: "Being a guy is good. ...They are stronger, more dangerous and more adventurous and that's okay." Also: "Men of God are wild, not domesticated. ...They fight battles, conquer lands and stand up for the oppressed." You can read all of the "cool rules" here.

Oops, I meant.... no woman in their right mind would ever fuck that guy, willingly. He probably only gets laid by date-rape style. What a fucking poor excuse for a man.

Justin Lookadoo Gay Conversion Link: #Lookadouche Target Had Reported Ties To Exodus International
A faith-based speaker whose lecture at a Texas high school sparked outrage this week was formerly associated with a now-defunct group that claimed it could heal homosexuals.
Years before he was heckled by Twitter teenagers for promoting antiquated gender stereotypes, Justin Lookadoo organized youth summer camps associated with Exodus International, the infamous Christian organization that billed itself as a refuge for people seeking to rid themselves of same-sex desires. In a 2006 blog post on the website Ex-Gay Watch, Daniel Gonzales, who attended the summer camp, describes being initially creeped out by Lookadoo before realizing that speakers at the camp included two Exodus Internationals leaders, Alan Chambers and Scott Davis.

(12,482 posts)"Justin has been doing this kind of stuff from the stage for about 20 years. Yep, since he was just a pup. He was a Juvenile Probation office for almost six years and he served in the toughest part of East Texas."
That is from his website. I am still trying to figure out what the "toughest part of East Texas" means. I have found its toughness (as in jeez its tough to put up with this) to be directly proportional to the number of jackasses like him. I am sure he has been on the fundie church circuit around here. But being an Episcopalian it is no surprise I haven't heard of him until now.

(80,708 posts)I agree, it's shocking that supposedly enlightened people buy into this shit. And it keeps getting regurgitated, repackaged, and sold "in a pretty little wrapper" even.

(9,527 posts)Forget about being dateable. I wouldn't want a friend who was of such an attitude.
I remember once seeing a quote that said "A strong man can handle a strong woman. A weak man will say she has an attitude." My response was what if I say she's got an attitude and give her a high five for it?

(12,482 posts)now that comes real close to excusing the rape of girls/women because.e of what they are wearing.
lot's of slut shaming in this guy's material.
seabeyond
(110,159 posts)we had a duer literally confirm that what the girls wore made them sluts or some such. i really wanted the definition of a slut, so i could safely leave my house without being called a slut. i needed him to tell me all i needed to know to leave the house. like....
if i promised not to have sex at the grocery store, would i be safe? or walking down a street and a man yells out slut, does that mean merely walking down the street make me a slut.
he showed me a picture of miley cyrus sticking her butt in the dudes crotch.
oh, what a hoot that was. lol

(12,482 posts)or take it as some sort of implied consent might be true. the ones who need a lecture are the boys/men who draw those conclusions not the girls/women.

(110,159 posts)you are right.
and i agree, no girl should put her worth in her ability to attract no more than a boy should put his worth in his penis, lol. to bads....
really. huge smile here.

(6,199 posts)I was not disappointed.
-Justin Lookadoo's Johnny Rotten haircut nicely complements his receding hairline.
-Justin Lookadoo dresses like what I would have thought of as a cool-looking grown up if I had seen him on Nickelodeon when I was 7.
-Encouraging teenage girls to get out of abusive relationships is good, sensible advice for them because it's well established by now that boys are basically horrible monsters with very small brains located in their fists and genitals and there's precious nothing anyone can do about that, so why even try? Score one for Justin Lookadoo.
-"R U Dateable?" is a good name for a website because teens still frequently append small words down to homophonic letters and say cool teen stuff like "u r hott" and "i cant 2nite my rents r sofuken gay" when they talk to each other on the AOL and the chatrooms. Score two for Justin Lookadoo.
-That is a really cool shirt Justin Lookadoo is sporting in that picture and I think I could probably resist the urge to throw up on it were I to meet him face to face.
-Justin Lookadoo claims that one of a man's many roles in dating is to be protective of women, which is cool because he also tells teenage girls not to tease boys with their "hot little bodies," so this is clearly a setup for us to connect the dots and protect women by keeping Justin Lookadoo as far away from any teenage girls as possible.
-Expanding on the above, Justin Lookadoo actually takes this duty upon himself and does a great service to women everywhere by basically dressing like a giant warning sign that reads "I AM PROBABLY A DATE RAPIST." By doing this, he saves probably billions of women a year from being date raped by Justin Lookadoo.
-Despite the fact that all sex with Justin Lookadoo is inherently non-consentual by virtue of involving Justin Lookadoo, Justin Lookadoo has lots of experience with dating. Granted, a woman usually doesn't know she's on a date with Justin Lookadoo because he always sits at a different table at the restaurant, or in a different row of seats at the theater, or under a bed in a different room of her house, but these count for something I guess.
-Justin Lookadoo has managed to offend large swaths of Texan evangelical Christians with his sexist rhetoric, demonstrating that even Bible thumpers do have sensible limits when it comes to important stuff like this and restoring my faith in humanity, but only a little bit because Texas is still home of the post-rape transvaginal ultrasound.

Also, how can somebody simultaneously "conquer lands" and "stand up for the oppressed"? As history sees it, conquering land that belongs to someone else IS oppression.
