The final Thom Hartmann program before the move from noon to 3 ET, and BERNIE too!

Starting on Monday, the Thom Hartmann program will be live 3 hours later: at 3-6PM Eastern after residing on the 12-3PM ET slot since 2003. Also given that it's Friday, Sen. Bernie Sanders of Vermont will discuss politics and take listeners' calls. The show starts at 6 after the hour. Streaming links:

In addition, the move to the new time slot means that Thom can be heard live on more stations instead of some (such as WCPT Chicago, WWRL New York City) carrying it live and some carrying it delayed right after Ed Schultz (whose show remains at noon for now). Also, KPOJ Portland and KPTK Seattle (right now carrying Thom at 9AM PT then Ed at 12PM) get to carry both shows live, they definitely will switch those shows around.

Also, WCPT listeners will get all 3 hours live 5 days a week instead of just the first hour of Fridays live.

And I as a West Coaster in college gets to sleep in later on Fridays!

So for now it'll be Ed Schultz as the one progressive talker on 12-3pm ET. Thom will be competing with Randi Rhodes for listeners.

I just won't have as much opportunity to listen to it in its new time slot.

I generally catch it on KPTK from Seattle so I guess I'll learn to like the Ed Schultz show.

I don't get the live version - and listen to it from 3 to 6 p.m. on Sirius.

I listen to Thom online on Livestream or WMNF and hear the version that replaces the commercial breaks with bonus calls or "On the News" segments.

Sure wish they would get rid of Alex Bennett and give Thom that time slot.

It has momma in the mornings. Ed Schultz at noon and Thom at 3. Works out well for me.

I typically listen to his show on AM760, which has been tape-delayed and runs 1:00-4:00 MT, which is 3:00-6:00 ET.

That means for me, the show stays in the same time slot, but is live, not tape-delayed!

For the east coasters, this means that Thom gets to be in afternoon drive-time hours, which will probably get him more listeners!
