Help !

Some help me understand how Republicans and people like Dana Millbank of the Washington Post can say Democratic moves to end the filibuster are a "naked power grab!" How can anyone make that statement in light of the Republicans total TOTAL abuse of the filibuster? How can anyone say this is a Nuclear Option as if allowing majority rule were equal to Hiroshima?

And is anyone really stupid, I mean STUPID, enough to seriously believe that the Republicans would honor a kind of mutual agreement that if Democrats did not end the filibuster..well they would be gentlemen and let the Democrats obstruct things just the way they did... therefore Democrats should not have done this..

I cant believe even they believe this.. it has to be just more propaganda that even they must know is nothing but BS ..or do they?

I am furious that either they are that stupid or that they think we are..Which is it?

that is just gullible enough to believe this crap. Some of them are my FB friends from high school in Texas. I am amazed that they have lived for 60-some years and are still this stupid.

nothing about filibustering or Constitutional power. They hear "Obama bad" and believe it. I read recently a poll in Louisiana showed almost 30% of people there blamed Obama for Hurricane Katrina problems. People are so busy with work, kids and other things they genuinely have no idea what's going on. Folks like her are capitalizing on that.

Look at all the quotes from the Republicans when they were going to do it. Look at the Constitution and what it says about simple majority. None of that matters, only we understand.

I never needed anybody's help in any way.

Yeah, I know this had nothing to do with the Beatles but it's a great song.
