it that way. . There is no other conspiracy theory that has a solid majority of Americans believing it along with several senior government officials of that era including Robert Kennedy and probably LBJ who did in fact believe there was a conspiracy. I personally think they were wrong. But this conspiracy theory is not even remotely comparable to 9/11 truthers or UFO's or Area 51 or people who think the moon landing was filmed in a studio. The fact those of us who do accept the Warren Commission conclusion are in the minority and those who believe there was a conspiracy are in the overwhelming majority. Even among academics, government officials and journalist belief in a conspiracy surrounding the JFK assassination is completely mainstream.

More shows explaining the assassination without ever answering the question they created.

(12,461 posts)It started the gradual distrust of our government. As young as I was, I felt our government were the GOOD GUYS, I was really young. Something happened, collectively. A distrust grew. Conspiracy? We may never know. What I do know is, the aftershocks of that day still lingers. Same Players, same play, just a different time.

(13,685 posts)The facts found out after the WC disbanded tell us that the some in the WC conspired to keep the truth hidden from the People.
As for Oswald, there are many pieces of evidence that would lead one to believe that Oswald was not a 'lone nut'. That he in fact had some 'assistance'.

(36,437 posts)It's the curtain rods. He arrived with them. He did not leave with them. None were found on site. There was no need for them. There were no rods missing from the garage.
What was he transporting that Thursday evening and Friday morning? The rifle.
Nobody has explained to my satisfaction Oswald's behavior regarding the long object he was transporting, that he brought with him into the book depository, but did not leave with. They weren't curtain rods. Everything else is just noise to me now.
Like with Gawd, people are gonna believe what they want to. I agree with other posters who say that people getting angry over the conspiracy theorizing are just silly. Let people believe whatever little nonsense they want to. Who cares, really? It's just a parlor game.
