And what struck me was the articles first excerpt:
President Barack Obama has bungled HealthCare.gov so badly that hes told senior aides to not even try to win positive coverage from the national press.
Instead, theyre going local.
The article indicates the decision to go local was for targeted marketing purposes and goes further to indicate that the local media is doing a good job at reporting what is actually going on in the local communities, where there is actual evidence of what is going on.
But I wish, KOS had reminded its readership that the (President) Obama Administration has done something like this in the recent past
and it was meant as a shot across the national medias bow
remember the press conference where President Obama made quite the stir when he refused to call on any major TV media for questions? The message was sent, If your going to be a d!ck in your reporting
well
youre gonna have to be a d!ck without me giving you material.
Well, this is similar
if you want to run with your narrative
fine
You will do so with my media buys
instead, I will provide information and buy money to local media, who cant (or have a harder time) reporting something different from what people are experiencing.
