I wouldn't be surprised in some areas that it isn't already happening. Shoot, if I had a food truck, I know I would be doing this and making a butt load of money. I'd pull up a big ole' roaster and let the smells do the talking. It would probably become a thanksgiving phenomenon like shopping for shit on the thanksgiving day is now becoming a tradition.

It is sad that a day meant to spend with families and reflecting on what we should be thankful for having in our lives, has been subverted into a mega consumptive buying day for a holiday coming up that is supposed to represent good will and compassion and connecting and celebrating life.

Sadly, the phrase Black Friday wasn't something consumers would really know about. It used to mean that for many retail shops, they would stop posting debts, and start posting earnings. The fact that they call it Black Friday shopping/ sales, is a big slap in people's faces and something that didn't used to be in your face.

Sadly, even fewer even know what the term, Black Friday, means. Just ask people what they think it means. Some thing it refers to the sun not being up when u hit the stores. Some think it means that the people working the stores for the holiday and taking with the madness call it that because anyone stuck having to work that crap, would think their day is black.

''No Turkey for Thanksgiving? No trimmings and sweets? Well, hey
Tiger, let Uncle Ron fix it. I know, I'll just mash-up some french fries
for the potatoes, and for the turkey we'll add some chicken nuggets
as the main course, And we'll use a grape jelly packet for the cranberry
sauce. And then we can put this pint of Old Whiskey Barrel I've got in
my back pocket here into a couple of vanilla shakes, and voila: The best
Egg Nog you ever smacked your lips on baby, that's what! What more could
you ask for on Thanksgiving that's better?!?!''

You help brighten this shut-in's day every day that you post.

That, and you are one of the sources (of many) that I use on a blog that I have. That is when I am up to posting these days.

Again, thanks.

Have a good Thanksgiving.
