are anything but stupid. They found a better offer at another network, so need an easy out from A&E. They would never hurt their brand ($$$$$) with an unscripted comment. The whole interview seemed to cover the gamut, of who can I insult the most. Just in case one group of people didn't get mad enough, I have to make sure I cover a few more minorities. Do you really think he did not know what GQ is and who they cater to?

He is worth $20M on his own. follow the money.

I know they aren't stupid. I have lived around poseurs like him all my life.
I thought it was funny that GQ would have that interview.
