1. My father had specialized training

The course was a mock up village or town. The targets were pop ups of both enemies and non-combatants. Shooting the civilians was a definite downer.

I don't know why police don't have to do similar training and scoring on a regular basis. Being able to draw, aim and fire a weapon is not enough.
