Is Vladimir Putin a paleoconservative?

In the culture war for mankind’s future, is he one of us?

While such a question may be blasphemous in Western circles, consider the content of the Russian president’s state of the nation address.

With America clearly in mind, Putin declared, “In many countries today, moral and ethical norms are being reconsidered.”

This little nugget showed up in my local fish wrapper today. The rethugs are actually defending Putin! OMFG to what level will they sink? Think about it. the man that is a step away from turning Russia back into the soviet model of oppression, and they support him! These people are showing that they would side with dictators, terrorist and despots to achieve their goals. I think it's time.

Then yes, he is one of them. If by human then no...wait...maybe they are just like him after all not human.

2. He hates gay people, of course he fits right in with the wingnuts.

He'll imprison a women's rock group for the crime of trespassing because he doesn't like their message.

This is no surprise, really. Pootie's not a nice guy, and anyone who thinks he is needs to recalibrate.
