I'm going to fuck anyone who gets in my way, or disagrees with me, or even refuses to kiss my ring.

If first responders have difficulty handling emergency situations as a result, even at the risk of people dying, I don't give a shit.

He also disputed the suggestion, made by Baroni and Christie, that the local access lanes were exclusively for Fort Lee residents.

“A lot of people other than Fort Lee residents use those access lanes,” he said. He declined to say what municipality he lives in, other than to say it is in Bergen County, north of Fort Lee.

Baroni & Christie think that the fact that the lanes only served Fort Lee residents is a sign that this was all really not that big of a deal. In reality, it shows that this was designed to affect only Fort Lee residents. Clearly to target and punish the mayor of Fort Lee by causing him political pain.

This is how Christie operates. He will punish you by causing pain to people who will blame you first. By the time the dust settles, usually it ends with you suffering and Christie laughing. Property taxes, state aid, public pensions, his M/O is the same.
