2. You shouldn't have to listen to his opinion

If you get more than one channel, or if your TV has an "off" button, then you don't have to listen to his opinion.

Or, are you suggesting that all TV programming conform with YOUR opinion?

7. I think the problem is that his label does not inform people on his past

He was indicted on Iran Contra - for lying under oath to John Kerry's subcommittee and the bicameral Iran/Contra hearings. He was pardoned by GHWB. One would think that that is relevant when discussing Obama administration foreign policy.

In addition, he is a neocon who STILL thinks the invasion of Iraq was a good idea. The others on the panel did not have the time to put this into perspective. I have no problem with him being there if his bias was made known. His name is not well enough known that most people listening would have the information on his past.

I don't want to miss the panel discussions. The other panelists were legitimate. I am happy to hear a balanced discussion. However, neocons like Abrams have delegitimized themselves by their historical pasts. They should no be given airtime.

have no relevance in todays news. They are the "who cares" talkers. I think it is because they have no one else to keep the bull alive. It is not journalism instead it is make believe.

5. It is outrageous that he is so often on MSM without a disclaimer that he was pardoned

By GHWB for Iran Contra and that he is a neo-con. That might balance his claim that Obama is seen as "weaker" because he is "retreating on the two wars". (I was surprised how good Andrea Mitchell's response was - suggesting that Obama's strength in that area this term may be diplomacy. Robin Wright did a great job on that as well.)

Was intersecretary of state for Latin America when Reagan was president and oversaw the war on Central America. He's a POS.
