Who is "The Most Interesting Man in the World"?

I absolutely love the Dos Equis ads featuring "The Most Interesting Man in the World". And having just seen another commercial on the teevee machine, I finally fed my curiosity about the man and about the ad campaign and I found something very interesting: "The Most Interesting Man in the World" is a big fan of President Obama, and like-wise the President is a fan of "The Most Interesting Man in the World".

So, who is "The Most Interesting Man in the World"? He is 74 year-old actor Jonathan Goldsmith and he lives, rather purposefully, in Vermont.

Mr. Goldsmith, as it turns out (some of you probably already know, but I didn't), hosted a Vermont fundraiser for President Obama and met the president at a rally during the campaign. He speaks about the experience:

"He says 'Oh my God, I know this guy...'. And I, I...he knows me. He says, 'Hey man, I love you! The Most Interesting Man, everybody!'. Holy Moses, what a humbling experience!," Goldsmith says with a huge smile.
