This can't be good - Pope's peace doves attacked by crow and seagull

Two white doves that were released as a peace gesture by children standing alongside Pope Francis were attacked by other birds.

As tens of thousands of people watched in St Peter's Square on Sunday, a seagull and a large black crow swept down on the doves after they were set free from an open window of the Apostolic Palace.

One dove lost some feathers as it broke free from the gull. But the crow pecked repeatedly at the other dove. It was not clear what happened to the doves as they flew off.

Speaking at the window beforehand, Francis appealed for peace in Ukraine, where anti-government protesters have died.

1. It just means that the crow and seagull got pissed that two doves invaded their territory.

It's the war between good and evil and the evil raven and the despicable gull were sent by Satan to destroy the pure and just doves of peace. The white doves of joy left the sacred confines of the holy place to be devoured by Satan's creatures from hell.

Actually, doves are just another name for pigeon. I'm not much a fan of pigeons. I think if Satan had just thought of them as dumb pigeons he wouldn't have bothered. But here came those prissy Lilly white doves. It must have been exasperating for the prince of darkness.

Hey, Mr. Pope, make it plain old gray pigeons next time. A little compromise is what's needed in these political clashes.
