Newsweek has a story about this creepy Highlight app for the i-phones, i-pads, etc. For example, it can tell you if a sister of a long lost friend is sitting near you when you are at a ski lodge. Many hipsters have this, and even the writer thinks it is "magical." I don't want to be paranoid, but how could anyone not find this creepy? Whenever I hit Facebook on my i-phone asks me if it can show my location, I say, "NO"!!! Is that why they need my location??
I have planned to get rid of my i-phone for a while because of the cost, but this is another reason for me to get rid of it this week!!

This is clearly for a much more socially-oriented younger generation. Or anyone who wants to join in.

You can't just start tracking any random person who has their phone turned on.
Why would I find it creepy? I think apps like this are very useful for situations when you are with a group at, say, Disney World or a ski resort. It makes it very easy to find each other quickly - easier than using walkie talkies or calling and trying to figure out where "the blue sign next to the red door" is.
