Why Do You Care How Much Other People Work?

I read Krugman's article and I wonder if the ACA doesn't create so much more in small business owners that its net effect isn't more hours worked. Because people who can now start a small business put in incredible amounts of hours. And they will come from all sorts of employees, not just people who will want to work less. They are simply following their dreams and working more hours. Plus they hire others. Applegrove

own damned family is a good thing. But the idea Krugman wrote about, that the ACA may add up to less hours worked ...well he isn't taking all the new entrepreneurs into account. ACA frees them up to consult or start a small business. And all the jobs that creates. And all the long hours worked. Who says that less hours will be worked and less taxes raised because of the ACA. It may not be the case.
