People learned from the Atlanta debacle. Malls, homeless shelters and other organizations are opening up their doors to anybody who gets stranded.

to put out the fire, either, or transport the injured.

Southerners on ice are always pretty scary. That's why sensible employers send them home before it starts to get really bad!

The news said most of the problems were from everybody leaving work at once.

I have 2 friends who work for newspapers whose bosses REQUIRED employees to be at work today and it's snowed another 4 inches since 7 this morning.

One of the women works in the advertising department. I don't really call that essential newspaper personnel.
