Looks like no one is going to harm this guy. No one is getting near. Talk about loyalty and devotion. What could be better than having your dog guard you with his life. That is TRUE LOVE and it doesn't say it any other way. Having a magnificent German Shepherd lying right on you is comforting and I bet he was with him all through his tour.
