"Mozilla's new Chief Executive Officer Brendan Eich has resigned, after being dogged by calls for his ouster over his support for an anti-gay marriage bill in California.Mozilla's board chairman Mitchell Baker announced Eich's resignation in a blog post on Thursday.

I expected this. Even the staff at Mozilla (makers of the Firefox browser) were up in arms about this asshat. Tech people don't have much tolerance for people like this generally.

(19,926 posts)I'm so loving all of these pro-LGBT stories... the marriage legalizations, the public outcry against the bigotry, so great. Still have a long way to go, but wow, times have changed.
