Senate report: Interrogation methods 'far worse' than CIA acknowledged

Thank you President Obama, VP Biden, Speaker Pelosi.. and all people of good faith for first of all stopping the torture of people detained that was done under the auspices of the last administration. Thank you for calling for a full investigation.. I know this is going to be painful to bring back up..but the only way to stop this from happening again, under future administrations is to acknowledge what has happened under previous administrations.

This is from the article and is so true..

Faith groups in particular have been involved.

“As people of faith, the members of the National Religious Campaign Against Torture believe that torture is always wrong,” the Rev. Ron Steif, the group’s executive director, said in a statement. “Admitting the truth about the United States’ past is the first step toward redemption.”
