... certain commentators think that the reputed visit of JC to Jerusalem took place in the autumn, not the spring, and that the last supper was Purim, not Passover. Why? Because who in his right mind would bitch about a fig tree not bearing in spring? Whereas if it was barren during harvest, that would be a reasonable complaint.
