In a true democracy all official parties appeal to the majority of voters with ideas, but in America

where one of the only two political parties openly defies the voter and public opinion and appeals only to and for the wealthy and the foolish, you have the elements of an emerging fascism.

The outrageous hatred of the extremist Republican Party towards the wealth redistributing policies of Obama is only kept alive by a slumbering and inept national media network owned for the most part by the very same wealth Republicans only appeal to.

Reforming the inanity of the American media, itself infiltrated by fascist sympathizers, is not going to happen any time soon, I wonder when the hooligan armed protests as began in the streets of Kiev leading to the elected President having to flee, come to America?

It seems like the two American political parties are growing further and further apart with harsher words and rancor. People forget when we had wars and it didn't what party you were in, we all worked together. Both my husband and I feel like a time will come, but not in our life time, that another civil war will erupt in the US unless some big changes are made and I am usually an optimist, but in this case, the future looks bleak to me.
