There's nothing. Nothing on the American Spring website, any twitter feeds, or on Facebook. All are dead as doornails. I found a link to what is supposed to be a live feed on it, but all that's there is some guy ranting about something in a room somewhere.
It's pretty clear that this will amount to nothing at all. I wonder if any of the news media has even bothered to send a crew to DC.
Anyhow, unless something happens soon, there's nothing to see here, folks. You can return to your homes.

You can't expect people to go outside and demand the resignation of the President if they might get wet, it's just not fair.

My intent was to point out the absurdity of Teabagger-type protests against government and socialism, many of which are attended those who are heavily dependent upon government programs.

I have a feeling that FOX News is smart enough to realize that promoting a gathering whose purpose is to overthrow the existing government isn't a good way to guarantee that you get to keep your FCC license.

(5,842 posts)It's been a while since I've been to the site but I don't think the parking sections can accommodate 10 million people. That's also a decent walk from the Mall.
I guess they plan on spitting on the memory of those who died to protect this country's freedom.

There are probably a lot of people around Bundy's ranch who wish they go somewhere else (including Bundy himself) but they can't afford the gas to get themselves out of there.
So there won't be any American spring at least until their next government disability check arrives.
