The Mass shooter guy wrote a 140 page life story. Its pretty fucked up

Someone found a link to a "Story" of the shooter on a gaming forum I frequent.

Its pretty scary how crazy this guy was. Another prime example of the failed Mental health situations of this country...

This guy was bullied alot when he was in school. The parents did try to get help but no one else wanted to do anything. The Police did come to his house but dident search it.

Do you think "Day of Retribution" may have come from a game? Any mention that he was a gamer?

Or maybe a film? It sounds like something from the entertainment industry. I heard that his father is an assistant director who worked on "Hunger Games."

Bunch of games, Game of Thrones (barbarism), and...The Young Turks?

Although maybe not much different than your average 22-year-old.

Certainly no clues to be found there.

And of chorse the MSM will focus on the video games part instead of the real issue.

This guy was already losing his damn mind before video games became a factor.

I did catch, in one of the news stories, that a Social Worker alerted police about him, last week.

Let me explain, for those who do not know ca;. law.
I am a retired social worker with a lot of experience in Mental Health Field.

Cal. requires mandatory reporting if cops or doctors or social workers think that someone COULD possibly harm themselves or others, in the future, even if the person does not express the idea.

When I moved to Cal. to work, I found out about this mind reading law, and I asked the chief shrink I was working with
" what is the outcome of this new law?
How are these reports handled?
Do the police arrest someone on the suspicion of a possible future act?
Has anyone here seen Minority Report????"
and I was told:
"All you have to do is call the police or call Child Welfare or Appropriate Welfare agency and make a report.
be sure to document everything you can think of.
then it is up to the agency you called to take action.
If you don't report, and they find out you had concerns, you will lose your license".

So, sounds like what this guy's social worker did, in calling the police.
I have no idea if this law was coordinated in any way with the Police, or if any means of acting on it were budgeted.

I retired early and never had to get licensed in Cal. ( They did not recognize my licenses from other states).
But this situation clearly shows the difficulty of foreseeing someone 's actions and stopping the future behaviour.

They seemed (based on his account, anyway) mostly curious if he was feeling suicidal.

It could be that nobody every took their concerns to the level of "will he hurt others?" because his woe-is-me attitude made him seem more at risk of harming himself.

From that angle, perhaps that made it easier for him to convince the police to go away.

and who were just acting like it.
Usually at 3 am in some way out in the boonies lil county hospital or jail.

NOT an easy thing to do, made all the worse by the knowlege that any mistake could cost a life or two.
sometimes it was a better decision to go ahead and call the judge and get the person admitted for 72 hour observation.

But..in this guy's case...cops called on him, he blew them off, and no follow up.
How many of is therapsits even knew they had come to his apt?

sigh....all goes to show that it is damn difficult to provide effective mental health services in a community.

I have just read about 1/3 of his 'biography", the the thing he calls his manifesto.
The salient issue about him that is already showing as he enters high school, he has deep social phobia, and keeps his thoughts and feelings to himself, plus his parents are not in tune with his day to day feelings and activities.
Then he gets into Warcraft games and they become more real to him than school and outside life.

Yeah, very much capable of being secretive and hiding lots of things.
