Do you know any un-insured conservatives who have declined to enroll in Obamacare out of principle?

As in they are without health insurance and out of principle they will remain uninsured rather than sign up for Obamacare? Do you know any conservatives like this?

it would even be free. I'm thinking his next trip to the doctor might change things. It's my girlfriends brother who lives with her. If he signs up for "Obamacare" I'll know about it.

I'm sure he will and he'll need to see a doctor soon. I have yet to know a so-called conservative that will turn down free money. It may be communism for anyone else that benefits but they deserve it somehow.

and then signed up and to their surprise it costs less and covers more than they expected.

There certainly were various stories during the sign-up period about people who had no intention of signing up because they assumed it would be very expensive and hadn't even bothered to find out what it would cost them.

There are probably those who didn't get around to signing up who will discover they should have before the next enrollment period happens.

But since I try not to spend time with conservatives, I don't know of any personally.

when I was reading the local news Facebook page.

There is also a LOT of ignorance about what "Obamacare" really is.

Background: my husband got insurance through the exchange.

A plumber came to my house to do work and somehow the topic of Medicare and ACA came up.

To make a long story short, he said "wait until you husband tries to use it to go to the doctor"
I tried as nicely as I could to tell him it was a Blue Cross/Blue Shield card.. a regular PPO. ( LOL - he hadn't filled out the bill yet!! didn't want to piss him off) I said there was never any trouble with Blue Cross before. He got quiet.

This must be common because my husband had the same thing happen to him at work. He had to pull out his BC/BS card and show some carpenters on a job he was on. They thought you got an Obamacare card.

conservatives! Don't care if they have health care or not. It's their choice to be stoopid.

Just love their Social Security and their almost free health care.

I tell them they are only conservative because they have been told they are.

that's why they think they are so great and earned everything they have and are therefore better than people who don't have a job that provides a policy.
