Hillary Clinton won't run for President.

Articles like the one linked to here are just the beginning of the kind of scrutiny Hillary would have to endure if she seeks the presidential nomination of the Democratic Party.

And this kind of discussion will make her success in primaries highly problematic. After the 'Crash of 2008' and the emergence of 'wealth inequality' as a major issue, Mrs. Clinton is simply not able to be the advocate for the stressed and beleaguered working and middle classes.

I don't think Hillary will want to risk becoming a two-time presidential nominee candidate loser.

How Did the Clintons Become So Rich?
The real scandal is not that the former president and first lady are so wealthy, but how they got that wealthy.

The republicans want us to focus on 2016 instead of this years election so they can keep control of the House and try to get control of the Senate. Do not get distracted by 2016 while we still have work to do this year!!!

If they can take over the Senate, being president will be terrible for any Democrat. Not to mention all the state governments--we need to make gains where we are outnumbered and solidify majorities where we have them.

Like her or not (I don't), she will likely be our next President. Just because you feel strongly about an issue doesn't mean the vast electorate will disdain her.

for making a decision about running. She knows full well that there's not going to be any coronation. You are incorrect in your assessment, in my opinion.

She is a dicey campaigner who is extraordinarily well connected and super resourced who is working to set up conditions that will make sure there are only "vanity" and "getting to know you" campaigns in a phony primary.

Then we have the primaries. That's going to happen down the road. In the meantime, we have mid-term elections.

If Hillary wants to run, she will run. If she runs, she will be very, very difficult to defeat in the primaries.

If you'd prefer someone else, you might want to consider posting things that are favorable to that person, rather than repeating attacks on Hillary Clinton. That's my suggestion to you.

That's the way the Clintons will see it, and they can be forgiven for trusting their political instincts on this point. In fact, they probably see it as a positive, since the money focus is getting hot-and-heavy early in the game. Last time. Bill's $110 million post-presidential haul came out in 2008. Now she isn't even running and they have a chance to mend their rhetorical stumbles (there have been a couple) out of the way and get their story straight. It won't be difficult.

while their were seven million fake ass scandals and focus on bullshit that had nothing to do with official business.

There wasn't near enough scrutiny on NAFTA, deregulation, welfare deform, GATT, most favored nation status for China, or media consolidation just silly buggers going on about real estate deals, blowjobs, who Bubba fucked in Arkansas, how often Bubba ate a Big Mac, Chelsea's appearance, and if Hillary was a ballbuster - aka reality TV shot ahead of it's time and little to nothing about selling us out justified by a couple of soon to burst bubbles and trickle down sold with more high minded sounding rhetoric.
