The difference between DU and Discussionist is obvious this week.

No one on DU is arguing that the Hobby Lobby decision is good for women.

No one on DU has used this issue to call Sandra Fluke a man-hater.










I've yet to encounter any blog that allows conservatives to participate that isn't awash in raw sewage.

I like how they talk about DU and what are the current happenings, often in very blunt language. It is interesting to read the different and frank assessments over there some times. I find some of the criticisms posted to be right on target, for example.

got called to jury immediately after logging in. No longer... making me wonder if the cretins have worn down those trying to instill some civility

It is fun to argue with the conservatives and to force them to deal with facts and reality. In the real world not every one agrees with my positions and it helps me to defend my position and force the other side to defend their position. The conservative posters on Discussionist are somewhat stupid and fun to play with but I have a high tolerance for stupidity
