Here's the Deal Folks.

I just read about arsenic in chicken and 'hidden' antibiotics discovered by scientists; and we have pink slime.

Regulations for products and the companies who make them are necessary if the product may impact a person's health. We have learned from the past that the vast majority of companies will not make ethical decisions unless they're forced by law to do so. Even then, some are clever enough to find their way around the laws, for the sole purpose of making more money.

Don't think for a minute they won't choose money over people.

I believe one of government's key responsibilities is to do everything possible to protect the population from unknowingly consuming harmful products. Enforce regulations and inform the public. Sadly, it isn't working.

This stuff makes me so angry.
