if parents gave their year old baby methamphetamine, do you think that would be a crime?

What do you think should be done to the parents who give their babies and toddlers drugs that are known to cause neurological problems?

What should become of those babies? Take them away from the parents? Send them all off to family and drug counseling?

she has 3 meth kids in her house, two toddlers and one 11 years old. ALL of them have severe behavioral problems. Two of them have serious health issues including loss of function. This is serious business. I would take those babies away from her in a hot minute and we do down here in Oklahoma when we can under the law.

I saw the thing in Tennessee, it is a slippery slope, but I can all but guarantee that her baby will be seriously harmed by her actions. Not sure I like the law but in a weird way understand it.

The samples were for the parents to take home and try on their kids. It was perfectly normal. My pediatrician wasn't a weirdo ... or maybe he was; I was among the first children to receive the MMR before it became a standard vaccine and Sabin polio vaccine. In other words, he was very interested in keeping children alive and healthy ... yet there were amphetamine samples. Should Dr Katz be dug up and shot? Should all those parents of now-middle aged children be arrested?

How about these questions: does the law (any law) apply equally to all (adults)? Are there special classes (or sub classes) of people that should live under a different legal system (contingent on their reproduction status)?

In answer to your question: Child abuse is illegal, it is illegal for all ... a child that has been born is an autonomous human being with separate rights and protections of their own.
