High unemployment isn't bad for Obama, because Americans blame it on Republicans

Americans were asked by McClatchy in a poll in late March whether the economic problems we face are mostly inherited from the last administration or a result of Obama's policies. 57% picked inherited, 38% said Obama. This can be found the bottom of poll data sheet.

This is part of the reason why Obama's approval has been somewhat rising, instead of dropping; but Conservatives are too dumb to realize that. You see them in twitter and blogs and TV celebrating the high unemployment numbers, without bothering to check who Americans think got us into this mess.

A bit naive, if you ask me. They'll lie like they always do. It's gonna be Obama's fault.

the economy will slow and they most likely will win. Look at the last two years, as soon as the gas prices went up in the spring the economy stalled out.
